Good day and hi, Attention to all UTP students, please be informed that there will be a water supply interruption tomorrow(26/10/2015) from 9:00am till 6:00pm due to some working process. Dear Students, . As part of the University's social graciousness initiatives, cleaning services of all cafes are only provided during office hours (7:30am - 4:30pm) throughout the week. All cafe patrons, students included, are requested to return used crockery and cutlery to the Dish Collection Bin provided in each cafe after every meal. . The Residential Village (RV) Department started this campaign in all RV Cafes, including Block M, few weeks ago. To encourage and inculcate the spirit of social graciousness, banners, stickers and notices are posted around the cafes. . Let's ALL support this global act of social graciousness and start returning all used crockery and cutlery to the Dish Collection Bins. . Together we can do it! . Assalamualaikum and hi, Kindly to inform all the students who stayed in Village 1 and have your own vehicles, you are advised not to park your's vehicles in front of V1B and V1C starting from tomorrow 14/10/2015(Wednesday) till 06/11/2015(Friday). For your information, some working process were carried out near that area for the project " Upgrading works for road circulation around campus". Please shift your car as soon as possible and find other places for parking your vehicles instead of that area. UTP Management will not take the responsibility for any damages on your vehicles if you fail to follow the instruction stated in the notice. Assalamualaikum and hi, Many people are not aware of the seriousness of health problems that haze may bring. Plus, this short-term discomforts will soon dissapear after the haze goes away. That is the reason why they do not take precautionary steps, like wearing mask, to avoid breathing in fine haze particles. However, we, RCSU, are very concern about the students’ well-being. Thus, as has been informed before, free masks have been prepared for all the students starting today(6/10/2015). You can now have your own mask by collecting it for free at any residential village. For your information, there will be a " Wish Something for UTP Condition" wish board put near the free mask. You are welcome to write anything on it to wish for UTP condition! Stay Healthy. Haze is one of the social or environmental problems and need to be addressed immediately! Haze may bring health complications, thus safety steps must be taken to avoid breathing in fine haze particles. We may have grown so used to the haze, but whenever the haze struck, you might find yourself coughing and tearing more than usual. This issue must be taken seriously because the air may contain dirt, carbon monoxide and other pollutants that affect our health. For instance, inflammation may occur due to particulate matter in haze which leads to frequent coughing and causing pain to your throat. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water to ease throat pain. It is advised for us to reduce physical exertion and outdoor activities. If you have to spend prolonged periods outside, wear a mask to avoid breathing health problem. We hope all of you understand the situation and can give cooperation to avoid worst situation from happening. . 1) Manual registration is not opened to students due to procedures and line of authorities that must be followed by Residential Management in Universiti Teknologi Petronas. . 2) We have compiled all the Occupied Room for September 2015 semester. For students who will be active on September 2015 semester, you are advice to register in your current room. [ONLINE COURSE REGISTRARION - AFTER FINAL EXAM] Salam and Hi. Registry Department informed that course registration will open after final exam. Naturally all students need to vacate their room and do online room registration during semester break. To avoid such things from happening, RCSU and RV have decided on a few things . [UNDEGRADUATE STUDENTS - MAY14 AND OLDER BATCH] 1. Students leaving for semester break must leave their room in a clean condition but can keep some of their belonging in the wardrobe. Make sure the wardrobe is lock by your own padlock. Last date to return your room key is on Monday 7th September 2015. . 2. Please do not left your private belonging (laptop etc.) in the room as all the room will be cleaned by the cleaner. Any belonging that found outside the wardrobe will be taken away. Assalamualaikum wbt and Greetings, . Firstly I would like to apologize to everyone who faces difficulties in pre-registration of hostel for next semester. . With the help of MPP, we have issue this matter RV management and propose some solution on this issue. We hope the action that RV will take is relevant and fair to all parties involved. . A bit updates, RV will start approving the pre-registration application starting tomorrow. Hopes, the process goes well. . Lastly, for those who are currently in the examination week. Why we need to vacate EVERY semester?   This policy has been achieved on Sept 2014. Accommodation inside of UTP is not sufficient for all students. Some students need to stay in SIBC. To make it fair, all students need to register through online room registration. First come first serve basis will be applied. Note: As first come first serve basis will be applied, you need to vacate your room if you cannot manage to register your current room.   2. But for this upcoming semester (MAY 2015), for those who manage to register their own room in V3 and V4 still need to vacate right? Why?' Yes, you need.
